COShop Return & Refund Policy

This Return and Refund Policy outlines your rights and responsibilities when returning products purchased through our website, coshop.ng. By making a purchase on our platform, you agree to the terms of this policy.

1. GENERAL RETURN POLICY

We strive to ensure customer satisfaction with every purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with your order, you may be eligible to return the product based on the conditions outlined below:

  • Items must be returned within 7–15 days from the date of delivery, depending on the product category.

  • Items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging with all accessories, manuals, tags, and labels included.

  • Certain categories of products are not eligible for return, as detailed in Section 3 below.

  • A valid proof of purchase (order number, receipt, or invoice) is required for all returns.

  • The refund method will depend on the payment method used for the purchase (see Section 5 for details).

2. RETURN ELIGIBILITY BY CATEGORY

The eligibility of returns varies by product category:

3. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items cannot be returned for a refund or exchange:

  • Perishable goods such as food, beverages, and flowers.

  • Underwear, lingerie, swimsuits, and other personal items due to hygiene reasons.

  • Health and personal care products such as skincare, makeup, and hair products.

  • Customized or personalized products.

  • Clearance or final sale items.

4. RETURN PROCESS

To initiate a return, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Customer Support:

  3. Receive Return Authorization:

    • If eligible, we will provide a return authorization code and instructions on how to return your item.

  4. Return the Item:

    • Pack the item securely in its original packaging.

    • Drop it off at an approved COShop return center or arrange for pick-up (where applicable).

  5. Inspection & Refund Processing:

    • We will inspect the returned item upon receipt.

    • If approved, refunds or exchanges will be processed within 7–14 business days.

5. REFUND POLICY

Refunds are processed based on the original payment method:

  • Card Payments: Refunds will be credited back to the same card within 7–14 business days.

  • Bank Transfers: Refunds will be processed via bank transfer within 5–10 business days.

  • COShop Wallet: Refunds to the COShop Wallet are processed within 3–5 business days and can be used for future purchases.

6. EXCHANGE POLICY

  • Items eligible for return may also be exchanged for the same or a different item of equal value.

  • If the new item costs more, you will need to pay the price difference.

  • If the new item costs less, the balance will be refunded via the COShop Wallet.

7. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, notify us within 48 hours of delivery:

  • Contact our support team with clear photos or videos of the issue.

  • We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.

  • If the item is out of stock, you may opt for a full refund or store credit.

8. SHIPPING COSTS FOR RETURNS

  • If the return is due to a COShop Partner error (wrong, damaged, or defective item), we will cover the return shipping cost.

  • If the return is due to customer preference (e.g., size change, change of mind), the customer will bear the return shipping cost.

9. CANCELLATION POLICY

    • Orders can be canceled before they are shipped.

    • Once an order is shipped, it must be processed as a return.

    • Digital products, gift cards, and personalized items cannot be canceled after purchase.
